A right proper Christmas lunch

Christmas. Time to pull out all the stops, deck the halls and – at Rabbit Carrot Gun – kick off the yuletide cheer with our excellent Christmas menu.

When it comes festive foods, our expert kitchen team have been hard at work combining the best that tradition and more contemporary flavours have to offer. This November, come in and try some of our delectable desserts as we fine-tune our Christmas Eve and Day feasts.

Festive Flavours

Our special Christmas lunch menu – starting at $58 for three-courses for adults and $25 for two-course for the kids, is sure to impress. For starters, why not try a Grilled Goat’s Cheese with Pear Chutney, Prosciutto & Kale with Roasted Hazelnuts, or Roasted Pumpkin Soup with crusty Sourdough.

For mains, our traditional Roast Turkey comes with all the trimmings, including Duck Fat Roast Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Brussels Sprouts, ‘Pig in a Blanket’ Yorkshire Pudding and rich Gravy.

Red meat lovers will revel in the Slow Roasted Australian Short Rib, Sweet Potato Puree, Roasted Vine Tomatoes & Guinness Sauce.

Vegetarians, you’re not forgotten! Our vegetarian main has more colour and texture than a tree full of tinsel, with Charred Greens, Avocado, Baby Carrots, Beets, Green Hummus, Tahini, and Mesclun & Parsnip Puree.

Because it’s Christmas – and really there shouldn’t be much to do except eat, drink, and be merry – you should feel guilt-free about tucking into our range of house-made desserts. Choose from traditional Mince Pies with Brandy Butter, Oreo Trifle with Orange Curd & Pedro Ximenez Jelly, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Christmas Ice cream, or a selection of Cheese with House Crackers and Pear Chutney. Any and all of our desserts are perfectly paired with Lord Trenchard’s Seasonal Snifter – a heady concoction of vodka infused in-house for six months with dried fruits, cinnamon, Madagascan vanilla, allspice and cloves, sure to bring the ‘spirit’ of Christmas to a truly fantastic meal.
